quick to panic

Just saying a quick hi, hello, goodbye to my blog. Sorry for not updating coz I am still in hiatus from all the shebang of daily living. Yeah I know this (blogging) can keep the ball rolling but I am currently on a quest that needs a lot of hope, encouragement, will, strength, et cetera et cetera et cetera and perhaps being off for the meantime can bring back that spark again.  I am totally not in control of my emotions and I get a bit mushy when I want to write. So like I said, just a quick hi hello goodbye.

Sharing about PMS and how small things can make you crazy and you get extremely mad and you cry for no reason at all. All it means to say, it's time. PERIOD..

happy day with our pet beagle, COLA. beagles make me smile.

My DIY Pompoms & Cupcakes plus party crafts

Cute things for my baby cousin's Christening last october 8.

I love these onesies I ordered from a crafts' store in Manila. Since I laid eyes on the store's creations my mind was flying what, when and who's birthday or event I should order for. And when the opportunity for my cousin came in, I quickly informed my tita for she planned to have me make one for the christening of her baby.

Don't you just adore these?

I got these cute lil shoezies as favors and I placed candies and chocolates inside. I think having this as a give-away is soo adorable even without the chocolates. haha!

I had it made in three colors, blue, violet and green.

And then I made some Vanilla Cupcakes with Butter Cream for dessert.

They're yummy! haha!
For the dessert table: made some banderitas made of colored paper, displayed my cupcakes and the shoe favors.
The arrangement is still unfinished in this photo, so it looks kalbo. There's still other desserts that wasn't displayed yet and I was supposed to hang pompom balls on top of the table but I had no time to make it since I was already late for the blessing as a ninang. haha!

I had pompom balls made earlier that day though, that's what I used as table centerpieces for the guests. They were even amazed of the craft. LOL Too bad I wasn't able to take a photo of it but here's  a sample pic as an inspiration.

Made it in this color and in violet.
This is just easy to do and there's no fuss in spending on expensive decorations coz it's just made of japanese paper. You can even make this as decors for Christmas, just buy red and green jap paper and voila instant lantern balls.

Again, more pics on my cupcakes. haha!

Black friday

I love anything floral and intricate and one of  my fav item in my collection is a necklace I got at a local store. It's simple and it's floral.

raining outside
Re-lived a pair of pointed Keds which I luckily found under piles of shoes from long long ago. haha . Still comfy and it even looks filthy. haha!
But old is nice. Things shouldn't always be new.
Isn't this a beauty?
Here's to a casual black friday.

Simon in a tv box

Vater always have peculiar ideas in his mind. Anything from making things, fixing broken gadgets, tools, strategize systems, etc. he comes up with solutions that you'd normally wouldn't read in books, on the net or see on tv. Sometimes we kids would make fun of his ideas coz it's really the 'think-out-of-a-box' light bulb moment.

One time he shared about wanting to make a dog house for our beagles, Simon and Cola to keep them dry since we don't cage them and they get when the rain comes in the billiard area where they sleep. He rarely shows his fondness for the dogs so when he mentioned about the dog house we wondered how he's gonna pull it off or the carpenter.

And here's the end result......tadah!
The box that will protect Simon from the rain. It looks like a TV haha! He looks so cute and he loves it!

Cola hehe
They won't be sharing the wooden chair anymore.
Simon and Cola loves their new tv box, some chill spot dad made for them. awww hehe!
